John sees music as a language, seeking the knowledge and technique to fully articulate sentences of sound through his bass guitar, pushing himself to new musical heights by mastering the language and communicating the audible journey of his music.

Inspired by R&B, Reggae & Jazz, the tone of the Bass drew John to master and create sounds and textures not normally made with the bass guitar. His distinctive musical style could be described as jazzy, chill and groove with some rhythmic latin and bossanova flare. His solo performances are brought to life with the addition of a looper pedal by combining a variety of percussive, harmonious and rhythmic sounds, allowing the listener to appreciate each layer being built up as the song progresses.
